Ish is presently being booked at various festivals and special events locally, as well as across Canada doing what he does best: creating a fun-filled environment that reflects on the importance of music and comedic theatre in adults and children’s lives.
Drawing on his extensive repertoire of self-penned songs, comical poems and off-the-wall stories, his concerts are always engaging for young and old alike. And, when appearing as “Ish & da Fish,” his concerts take on a terrific new dynamic.
For over 20 years Ish has toured across Canada performing at more than 3,000 Children’s, Folk & Community Festivals, Country Fairs, Schools, Libraries, Daycares, Community Theatres, Seniors Centres, Hospitals, and Special Events as well as for Ontario Library Service, Festivals Ontario and Canada Council. He also toured twice throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan with Master Illusionist Murray Hatfield appearing in 26 Sold-out Shows.
He has performed to rave reviews at Canadian International Children’s Festivals in Winnipeg, Prince George, Calgary, Regina, Kenora, Surrey and Ottawa as well as at smaller yet fun-filled Festivals such as Courtenay, Campbell River, and Abbotsford to name a few.
Ish performed at the January 2006 Vancouver BC Public Library’s “Write On” Conference for Young Readers and Writers during Family Literacy Week. Sponsored by the VPL, Lomcira, ABC Canada and Literacy BC, it featured two wonderful talents: David Ward, a Children’s Literature Professor at UBC and author of “Escape the Mask” and “Beyond the Mask.” Also appearing was Trevor Lai, a children’s author and illustrator known for his Ralphy the Rhino series.
Throughout his career, Ish has also made a point of Volunteer Community Involvement by appearing on behalf of various Non-Profit Associations and Community Service Organizations and donated his time providing monthly “Music and Laughter” Therapy Sessions for two branches of the Stroke Recovery Association of B.C.

“Ish is a vivacious and alluring performer who captures the interest of young and old. His songs are fun, playful and socially responsible. Our festival would not be the same without Ish.”
