Ish, "The Clown Prince of Folk," is a multi-talented Singer-Songwriter, Storyteller, Musician and Comedian that is known for his positive messages, audience participation, fun filled songs, light hearted humour and mind boggling talents as a balloon sculpting artist.
Although best known as a Children’s and Family Entertainer / Recording Artist throughout his years of writing and performing, he was also writing songs and stories about his life experiences, different points of view, and thought it was time to share his music and thoughts with others.
Writing songs for children or adults and composing on guitar, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer and harmonica, his style is best classified as “Roots” – a combination of Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, Soft Rock and Country (with a little Latin and Reggae thrown in).
For the last couple of years, he has been performing In-Concert for Grownups as well as his Concerts for Kids, and has been receiving positive comments. That decision was the catalyst for recording and releasing his debut Roots & Blues CD “Go West on 17”.
His shows now encompass Concerts for Kids, All Ages and a Roots & Blues Concert for Grownups.
ISH performs In-Concert as a Solo Artist, Duo and Trio or Full Band “ISH & DA FISH”, featuring vocal harmonies and an upbeat mix of Folk, Blues, Soft-Rock, and Bluegrass.
Their show features songs from Ish's Root & Blues CD, “GO WEST ON 17”, and his two childrens' CD's: “CARDBOARD WINGS” and “NEVER SAY NEVER”.
Imagine if you can, having Ish, a wonderful singer, song-writer and story-teller, guitarist and mandolin-player sharing the stage with GREG-THE-ROCKER - a consummate side-man, gifted song-writer, vocalist and happy-go-lucky guy.
Together they sound great, with Greg playing the straight-man, a little off-center, and Ish's ever-animated and unpredictable personality, some funny and unexpected moments do occur.
After having fun playing this past festival season together, they have decided to carry on and see where it will take them.
They also showcase new tunes they have written, and some popular chestnuts, ranging from the Beatles, Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, as well as Rock Classics, Blues Favorites and some fun-filled Bluegrass tunes.
Enter easy-going JASON-THE-BLUEGRASSER - a gifted mandolinist and monster Banjo-player, delightfully able to alternate between Old-Timey Claw-hammer and the 3-finger Bluegrass Style.
Each musician contributes their own signature sound, and together, they bring to the stage a unique “Folky-Rockin-Bluegrass” fusion, that comes together in concert for your listening pleasure.
Whether they're playing for kids, families or grown-ups, their show is positive, upbeat, interactive, and just plain fun.

Ideal for Pre-school through age 8, in this concert featuring songs and stories from his 2 Children's CD's, Ish gently addresses some very important issues intended to encourage children's self-esteem, safety, imaginative spirit, and co-operative values. Cleverly hidden amid all the fun are healthy references everyone can identify with about family, friends and the world outside your door.

Often Fairs and Festivals are interested in having Ish provide a combination of different performances within our contracted package. This could be a mix of solo, duet, trio or with his Musical Friends, performing in different distinct Concert Sets.
From a Kid’s Set, All Ages Set or a Roots and Blues Concert for Grownups it brings out the best in him and his friends and provides an added value to the event and sometimes a true surprise to those that experience his performances.
